What I remember from watching Barney & Friends, created by Sheryl Leach and produced by HIT Entertainment, was the off tone primary colors throughout the playgrounds, inside the school, and a big purple blob. Osheyi, London based designer’s style reflects a kind of color scheme of a 90’s preschool. Like the work, playful and but still a little unusual like the round purple dinosaur. Studying at North West Kent College & Solent Southampton University lead him to have a steady portfolio of colorful and interesting editorial designs & typography posters for galleries, and mostly music venue called “Wherehouse” located in Mexico.

“I would describe my work as being bizarrely colour driven and a bit broken”

Mixing his mediums with photography and 3-D illustration has developed his own distinct direction and approach to his work. The color blocking along with extreme type slaps your face with attention. “I try to design a poster everyday, or sometimes I would design multiple in one day…” Says Osheiya. It’s fascinating seeing Osheyi having a constant flow of different ideas and news design on his Instagram feed almost everyday.
